Email Issue

Bit of a long shot this, but here goes.

In May i bought my son an Xbox. To get it going i needed a windows live ID for the parental account - which i duly set up.

Some time later i deleted that windows live ID. So far no problem.

Now we need to edit some permissions on his account, but it requires my confirmation. Except there is now no parental account linked.

I've phoned Microsoft who tell me that they can reset the password if i tell them the ID. My issue is I know the password - just not the ID.

Anyone got any ideas about how i can figure out what the deleted email address was. Can i find it anywhere on my PC?

Any assistance appreciated.

if he goes to xbox.com and logs into his gamer account in there you can see in your billing account the e-mail address it was it set up with, if it's still there. Hope that helps.

thanks, the email address in there is my normal day to day one, there is a parental one somewhere but on the console the address field is blank.
