You're right, the BFC card is still available. Obviously the credit crunch hasn't reached Bristol Flying Centre.

I managed to get £18k funding for my ME/IR/CPL using the BFC Card at Bristol Flying Centre. It gave me nine months interest free and no repayments for the same period.

PPL then IR then CPL: is it worth it?

Why 150 hrs ? You will need 70 hrs PI to commence the JAR-FCL IR (55hr) Course. Then 150 hrs Total to commence the CPL Course. Your IR training will count towards the total.

Small Operator requirements ?

Now have over 400 hours and have just called Centreline Air Charter.

Advised to book onto a one day JAR OPS1 First Aid and Fire Drills Course. Course costs £130 Incl lunch.
