IMHO,

Structural failure as a cause of this accident is highly unlikely. Especially unfounded speculation(s) regarding the v/stab and rudder on Airbus articles.

A lot more then a mere picture...

If this is true it is weird - AD is COMPULSORY within the time compliance requirement (which was 2003).

So not complying with an AD is a really weird thing, if true.
