Can't see many trainers resigning on principle, but can see many crew, and this would include trainers, taking this as a push to far and look for employment elsewhere.
Guess this would mean EK would...

Without actually counting, the names on the sick list appear to be predominately Airbus which tends to confirm the fatigue issue, even given that the Airbus is the larger fleet.

Do mind doing Sydney-Auckland followed by a night Tehran followed by New York. With min days off between the trips being the norm.

Maybe the reason Airbus Captains have been offered Boeing transitions is to make space for Airbus F/Os to upgrade on the Airbus.
This would keep the upgrades internal rather than employing more DECs.
