Three retro B744s but only two operate to Vancouver, G-CIVB or G-BNLY.

I always thought these additional windows were added by simply ‘punching them out’

Instead it sounds like you’re saying the skin panels encompassing them were entirely removed and replaced with new ones incorporating the additional windows ?

It's not just the window openings - the surrounding fuselage structure (e.g. stringers, etc.) has to change to support the loads.
