Hey there CR!! Long time no talk!
We're just finishing up a big overhaul on RGJ here in Edmonton. I'll post some pics when it's all done and shiney. It's losing the paintjob though. Just going to be white.
I'm starting mini-ops on Monday! They are finally going to let me fly these things. :ok:

Decided to try something new this month, hope you like it. If the calendar had a title, it would be called Extreme Machines, no R22's here though.

The Merlin thingy looks a bit odd with the Lorry Mirrors stuck out like that....do they make parallel parking any easier?

HeliEng 2nd May 2006 20:58

SASless,

I was gonna say that the Merlin looked a bit odd because it was actually flying!

You don't get many of them to the pound!! :8 :8 :8 :8

SASless 2nd May 2006 21:03

Probably unintentional....it does appear they jumped the chocks. Unless that is typical housekeeping nowadays...leaving bits laying about the roof of the bird farm.

John Eacott 3rd May 2006 02:50

We don't have Blender Pilot's B407  , but we do have nice reporters :ok:

sling 3rd May 2006 03:15

John
That poor girl, getting around in a 44 with the horn going off all the time.... I think Blender Pilots girls would be far happier travelling around in a brand new 407 with all the Hi Def ENG toys.
I suppose Melbourne is cleaner than Mexico City though!!!!

BlenderPilot 3rd May 2006 04:21

Hey John,

I will gladly trade you! Reporters that is. I like reporters that like to handle the joysticks. :E

Remember my reporter drives motorcycles, does her reporting stuff and cooks real well too!!

On a serious note, is she the cameraman and reporter??

John Eacott 3rd May 2006 04:30

Yes: they (two of them, 1 AM & 1 PM) also do radio crosses between the TV report, so it gets a tad busy collating all the information, driving the camera, and preparing TV & radio crosses. Plus letting the pilot know where to go....politely ;)

The picture is of the afternoon reporter, who just happened to be in my daughter's year at school. If that isn't something to be aware of, I don't know what is

NNB 3rd May 2006 05:39

John, I'm all for "one-upmanship" and keep up the good work and roll on summer...!!! ( how scantily clad I be wondering)
but - what's she done wrong, stuckin one of "Franks" sardine tins...!!
surely you (or the client) can do better than that, a little kero perhaps...!!
cheers NNB:ok:

rotorboy 3rd May 2006 14:42

Plays with joysticks, rides motorcycles, and cooks well! Is she single?

RB:ok:

CYHeli 4th May 2006 07:10

John's not greedy, (1 AM, 1 PM). Not half!

Seriously tho', how is the Jaffa going? What do you do for a spare when it's in for 100 hourly's, etc? Is there much of that gear that gets changed over. Watching the news we get to see different upholstery behind the reporters from time to time.

Steve76 5th May 2006 08:00

Sure all you guys fly nice looking ladies around but I finally figured out a way to take mine with me.
Eat ya heart out lads...
