To lighten up the mood and make some eyes water. There is a contingent of Chinese students at Bristow Academy at the moment on contract. One was casually asked how much return of service they had to the company who have employed them and are paying for their training. The answer.................bonded for life.

This is rubbish. 20 year bond wouldnt stand up in court.
I'd imagine any operator providing ab-initio training gratuit these days is going to be looking for their pound of flesh.

Does anyone know quite how strict they are on their criteria? Obviously I'll make direct contact but any info is handy. I've got the A levels in maths and physics (though B in maths - I'm hoping an engineering degree will offset that!) but I'm a few months outside the age range. I'm trying to find my fourth route through to becoming a pilot, after the first three (well, two and a half I guess) all fell through!
