HAL Cheetal

Hi,

As a big fan of the SA315B, I am looking for additional information on the HAL produced upgrade, the HAL Cheetal. From the web I have already been abel to fingure out that it has a Turbomeca TM 333 engine and FADEC++, but does anyone have more in depth information on this model? Any pictures of the new instrument layout and so on? I have also been looking for a RFM/POH for the lama, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Happy landings

You can buy the SA315B RFM for $10 here.

Thanks for the link to the RFM The Alouette & Lama site I've trawled through with no joy on any in depth info on the Cheetal:/ Seems they are not really aiming it at the civilian market...

The main problem is going to be getting any certification from the Indian authority accepted by the rest of the world.

A shame really, as with these performance upgrades it really would be a chance for the Lama to be around for a good long time still. Having grown up with these machines, I only hope I make it onto the Lama before it's gone.
