griff,

As a fixed wing driver, I'm interested in why the attitude is that high!

Level at 2000' and 120kts. Are you in the process of slowing down?

Fathom,

As you can see from the PFD there is no rate of decent, but we were only flying at 120 kts due to turbulence of the hills to the left which are 8000'.
The aircraft hovers at 7-9 degs nose up depending on weight, so the only time you will see the nose on the horizon is at or near max cruise speed which is around 150+ kts.

The terminology used by our gingerbeers is Agustaish.

Sunshine Band, did someone go out with their lawn mower and cut the strip as LNAA was circling overhead?

I wondered that- it is 4 houses down from mine and I'd never been round to the field before. Maybe they have pre-organised landing grounds. The rest of the grass wasn't too long, but when I had my crash, the ground that looked like a field from 2000' was full of rocks hidden in the long grass when I hit it!

Does anyone know?

How do you get a moving map on the MFD, I thought the only way to get a map was to install the fifth central screen

thanks
