Heli landing site near Teddington SW London
I'm looking for a landing site near Teddington, Fairoaks would be too far away. I heard rumours that someone around here had a Gazelle and used to land somewhere just off the H route along the river. My head office is v. close to teddington would really like to find something.
Location is close to tw11 0je - Google Maps
any feedback appreciated

From your googlemaps link, it looks like there are 4 golf courses nearby (Fullwell, Strawberry Hill, Hampton Court and Richmond). Have you tried asking any of them?

Landing site in Mid Wales
Does anyone have a recommendation for a hotel landing site around the Llandridnod Wells, Hereford or Knighton area? I am trying to organise for my son (recently qualified CPL(H) but still looking for a job, unfortunately) to take me and some friends out for a birthday lunch (B206).
Many thanks,

i'm looking for a more permanent fixture. That would be fine flying into the golf course for a one off but i'm talking about something where I might be able to land about twice a week or something.

West Highland destinations
I am spending a week in the West Highlands next month approx half way between Oban and Fort William and am taking my R22 there with me. Does anybody have any suggestions on helicopter friendly landing sites locally preferably with lunch etc?

Kesgrave Hall Hotel - East of Ipswich
Have landed their twice recently.
Really nice hotel. Very heli friendly with large paddock adjacent to hotel to land in. Easy to find and they have a windsock now too.
No fee & great lunch.

Walsall anyone?!
Greetings prooners
Anyone know of a LZ within a short cab ride on Walsall? I have a meeting there on Monday morning, just east of the A34.. Obviously I could go to wolverhampton or Brum Int'l, but neither are that close...

Re Oban
I ended up at Kilcamb Lodge Hotel at Strontian. Absolutely excellent! I stayed there for 3 nights then we rented a cottage a few miles away for a further week. Parked the helicopter there for free for the whole time. 12 acres of flat meadows right next to Loch Sunart. Good approaches and very friendly owners who were more than happy to have a helicopter there. The food and accommodation is first class and the staff could not have been more helpful.
We will definitely go back again. Pity about the weather, but it is Scotland.

Just stayed at Tyn Rhos just west of Snowdonia (co-incidence, I wasn't flying!) but 5 Robbo's pitched up. Don't know what their landing fees are, but the site was a decent sized field, the place itself was a nice place to stay, friendly staff and good rooms. Didn't have dinner there but brekfast was excellent.

I’m planning a late afternoon/early evening flight from Denham, UK (EGLD) and was looking at any new ideas/suggestions for a place to land for a casual meal on Sunday evenings. Below are some of my own notes, but I’m interested in some new spots roughly 15-20mins flying from EGLD
West Lodge Park: great place, but no hot food till 18:30 on Sundays (just “Tea”)
Hanbury Manor: can, but doesn’t always allow helicopters
The Grove: no helicopters unless you’re hotel guest
Candlestick Pub: heard it was good, but never been there (any feedback ??)
Cliveden: nice, but only formal dinner w/ no casual alternative
Tilney Hall: also good, but wind dependent due to one-way Landing/TO
