Happened in 2010. German Aerobatic Pilot Gunter Zimmer was at the controls.

Seen that 135 around 11am today heading North over the border where ever it was heading to. Lovely machine!

The reason he landed is......?

  1. He up the engine...
  2. He is going to up the loader...
  3. He crapped himself...
  4. He needs to off-load some fuel to complete the sling....???
Looks like this pilot has some logging experience with the reverse/bunt it through transition technique.

But hey, looks like an army helicopter so it doesn't matter. Gauges are for civilians

Yes my favourite mid range helicopter. Luckily for me they have heli pad behind my back garden.

Pretty cool video of a Swedish Airforce Vertol twin rotor doing tricks.

Impressive flying by Cpt Lennart Käck. Probably early 90's.
