Erickson Air-Crane S-64 in Istanbul, Turkey

Erickson is providing an S-64F fire fighting helicopter to the Municipality of Istanbul. A few days ago the city set up a demonstration of its capabilities by setting a city bus on fire on a barge.

...and when there are no fires, it can pick up some work with that spray gear, cleaning and drying windows on all the sky scrapers around the city

freaking brutal!!! was there not a vocational or tech school that could have benefited from those airframes?? I would have loved to have had one of them for my safety training school...
