The restrictions would only apply to aircraft engaged on public transport flights. No single crew opps for people aged 60 and over. Two crew opps:- Only one person from a crew of 2 may be 60 or over.
The restrictions do not apply to private flying or arial work.

Think some of the 'Old Britannia School' would say different if they were here with us today.
BY has had quite a 'Veteran' team over the years, But obviously the pilot's are coming in younger now.
Lol, I can picture 2 pilots now in their 60's flying a 732 back in the 80's.
And I remember one 'Old timer' in perticular who hung his boots up overnight, Gave no notice, And left a 757 stranded at LBA with the 1st off crew & pax waiting for him.
When BY eventually caught up with him, He simply admitted that he had had enough.
The 60 rule, I guess we have to change with the times.

Shall we start another forum in the subject "Kids flying together...?"
I am sure there are many, say regional jets, with captains aged 22 and a 19 years old F/Os.
In December, after I retire and qualify as a SLF, I might question their experience...
Captain has 3 months experience of "Command Time", and it is the 1st month on the job for the F/O...
I would send a letter to the Dir. Flt. Ops. questioning the 45º bank immediately after takeoff.
I have no objection against 18 years old in the flight deck. But team them with old timer.
And a young captain fits well with a more mature and experienced F/O.

An airline I flew with had a 27 years old DC8 captain. Good "stick"...
But he got troubles for a few things occasionally... because of lack of maturity.
Such as telling passengers "Flight will be 7 hours long, if we don't crash!.
Do you remember "Captain Kid(d)", Merlinxx...?
Incidentally I heard he flies a BBJ nowadays...
