Shall we start another forum in the subject "Kids flying together...?"
I am sure there are many, say regional jets, with captains aged 22 and a 19 years old F/Os.
In December, after I retire and qualify as a SLF, I might question their experience...
Captain has 3 months experience of "Command Time", and it is the 1st month on the job for the F/O...
I would send a letter to the Dir. Flt. Ops. questioning the 45º bank immediately after takeoff.
I have no objection against 18 years old in the flight deck. But team them with old timer.
And a young captain fits well with a more mature and experienced F/O.

An airline I flew with had a 27 years old DC8 captain. Good "stick"...
But he got troubles for a few things occasionally... because of lack of maturity.
Such as telling passengers "Flight will be 7 hours long,
if we don't crash!.
Do you remember "Captain Kid(d)", Merlinxx...?
Incidentally I heard he flies a BBJ nowadays...
