Just received my invite to assessment day.

Thought I would share my info with you guys so hopefully I can ease some of your minds a bit:

Received my “waiting list” email today at midday and my invite to an assessment day at 15:45.

Completed my digital interview on 20th Dec.

Got two averages and one above average in the reasoning tests (with above average on verbal
reasoning), which I did on 15th Dec.

Just got a rejection email too. Best of luck to all

Just a quick conspiracy for those who are anxious about the result - my mate got a rejection email -and you can check the status of your application by logging into TUI - his says “CLOSED”.

mine still says “in progress”, not sure about successful applicants what there’s says.

Bit of possible hope for anxious souls like me / but again this might just not get updated till the email is sent

You’ve offered some reassurance with your results being Av/Av/AbAv, Id thought that with so many applicants they’d pretty much only consider candidates with 3x AbAv. I guess the digital interview must have the highest weighting.

Has anyone record an email that confirms that they’re going forward to the assessment centre without a waiting list ?

I have received second email about 15:20 with the assessment dates, hopefully I wasn't late booking one! Good luck to those still waiting, fingers crossed you will get the email very soon :)

Just got rejected too. I have to say it’s probably the nicest rejection I ever received with tips on where to improve for next time. Best of luck all, we go again next time around!

Just received my rejection email, sadly. I scored above average on all three assessments by the way so I guess a lot of it came down to the digital interview (and maybe CV).

Unfortunately I received a rejection email just now also. Of course gutted like I'm sure everyone is who was unsuccessful.
Not in anyway trying to gloat here but intriguing to hear what others were successful with. I was 2 x above average and 1 x average, and thought I nailed the interview 🤣... (laughing emoji here).... I clearly didn't. I applied in January. I was wearing a smart jumper though and not a suit jacket so maybe that added to rejection tally.

Looks like they're coming through thick and fast now, that's 3 people I know (including myself) that have received rejection emails today. No bother, back to the modular route for me! All the best to everyone else out there. See you all in the cockpit in the near future ;)

Ah rejection, I just got the email too - Avg AbvAvg AbvAvg - heavy weight must of been on the digi interview which i found so awkward anyway

off to skyborne in September, would love to know any of you who might be going there too for the integrated ATPL?

Rejection for me as well, but that's to be expected. Huge congratulations to all those who did get in - looking forward to hearing how the assessment days went! For the rest of us it's important to remember that there were probably only around 100 spaces on the assessment days and 10,000+ applicants. Not getting in to one programme doesn't mean we aren't all capable of getting our dream job if we work hard enough for it :)

Just got my rejection email too, looking at modular study otherwise stuck in the NHS for good. Hope all the others in my position are ok, I know how disappointing it is. But also Congratulations to those who have made it through hope you guys smash the next round and have great careers moving forwards xx

Alas I have just received my rejection, I knew I had fluffed my digital interview (didn’t realise you could re-record) but it’s good to know I got exactly the same as you on the screening tests. I also thought the generic pointers from TUI were a nice touch given the amount of applicants they will have had (I’m pleased to know I’m in the group that CAN correctly point a camera).

To everyone else that didn’t make it this time, do not be deterred. As SoftwareDev said, there will surely have been an element in of bad luck!

It seems I made the 'holding pool' of those who have not been given a date yet but were successful to the assessment stage...

On another note, did anyone here successfully gain a place with LE?
