Skyborne Interview
Hey everyone
First of all I wanted to congratulate everyone who has progressed to the latter stages of the assesments, whether that's with FTE or with Skyborne!
And to those who weren't successfull this time round: Work hard, stay dedicated and motivated. You can learn so much from this experience so far and you will get there in the end!
To those going into their Skyborne interviews or those who have been already: Have you got any advice on what to prepare for? Are we only expecting a competency based interview and possibly some aptitude test verfication? I'm concentrating on practising competency based answers tailored to the competencies mentioned by Skyborne, all using the STAR technique to answer.
I'm grateful for any kind of input others might have. Cheers

The email about interviews from BA says that there are documents on what to expect and what to bring on the career portal but the only thing I can find is a "How to Find Waterside". Am I missing something or is that the only info?
Regardless, the email does say to bring passports/proof of right to work.

Waterside parking
Hi all
for those who have been to the waterside interview, would you be able to share what you did for parking?
Im travelling down the same day as the interview, but with the location being so close to the airport im struggling to find a good parking location.
Thanks.

The best options for parking that I found was the Premier Inn Terminal 5 (postcode UB70EA) which is 5mins walk to Waterside. It officially has 6 hours available for non-residents or 24 hours for hotel guests at Ł18. There are websites that offer extended pre-pay parking at reduced rates (yourparkingspace.co.uk) but I can't vouch for their authenticity. Downside is that the car park is small and there is no guarantee of getting a space.
My backup suggestion is the Heathrow Long Stay car park which you can just turn up to on the day, but it's ~Ł40 for the privilege!
I looked at the options and decided public transport to Terminal 5 then getting the shuttle bus (or local bus 423 or 350) was the easiest option.

Great news! Where did you see this? Are you sure it's for this year and not the next intake in 2025? If it is this year then the odds of getting accepted must be fairly high

Given that they upped it towards the end of last years process, there is definitely a chance this applies to us. Anyway, waiting FTE result tomorrow so good luck everyone, I've stopped being nervous during these waits now I'm so used to them haha

A quote from Lucy Silvester's recent post on LinkedIn "...the last day of the flight school assessment for the 2025 cohort".
So I'd say PCL post is more than likely referring to the 200 spaces being available for us right now.
