I’d be careful about sharing your personal information on here or any dates you might be attending assessments. Remember this is a public forum and not everyone is a fan of the aviation industry. Don’t make yourself an easy target.

Good luck to all those taking assessments over the next couple of weeks, I have mine with FTE on the 7th!

Quick question, I have a family holiday booked mid August and I was just wondering if by then (if i am lucky enough to be enrolled&#129310 they'll have us start our training. I really hope I won't need to cancel anything but of course if I am needed then I won't have a choice, if anyone knows anything or has a rough idea on the schedule ahead I will be grateful.

Thanks

For the Skyborne assessments, it says they must be completed by midnight on 01/06/24.

Does anyone know this means 23:59 of 01/06/24 is still the submission window or if it means 23:59 of 31/05/24 will essentially be the last minute we can submit?

That suggests to me 23:59 on 31/05 is the submission time

Has there been any mention of when they expect to start training after they announce the successful candidates in August? I missed the previous Q&A as I didn't get any details about it. Any idea if there will be another Q&A session next month?

Well there is only one midnight on the 01/06 and thats Friday night going into Saturday, it's like one of these verbal reasoning questions haha. If it was Saturday night it would be 23:59 on the 01/06

To everyone asking about when to complete the skyborne assessments by, you all passed the checking test didn't you?

The email clearly states Please complete the tests by no later than midnight on Saturday 1st June 2024.

Therefore 23:59-00:00 on Saturday.

Thanks for the replies everyone, I only ask as I’m working away all week annoyingly. I will assume Friday is the last day, but I have asked Skyborne and will post the reply here to help anyone else wondering the same.

It's 2359 on the 1st June - although, technically you are right as 0000hrs is midnight and that's when it's the 1st.
What they should have said is that the test is available until 2359hrs on the 1st June.
But if you're still not sure, play it safe and do it the day before
I'm doing mine on Saturday the 1st as that's the only day I can dedicate since receiving the email.

I too read that - but I think with the amount of cadets there are, it will be a staggered start by cohorts
I've no doubt they'll ask you for your preferred start slot
TUI have 36 cadets and they're starting Sep, Oct and Nov with cohorts of 12

Those Skyborne tests were hard!!! Unfortunately had a tough time with the tunnel task due to my computer glitching and I was definitely no good at the moving white dots! Only way I'm moving forward is if you guys struggled as well haha

7 or 8 varying in length from 2 to 20 minutes long. Took about 1hr 30 to get everything done in one sitting (kept being logged out after every task - not sure if that's universal or just my computer).
