Hi everyone,

I got my “ yes “ email yesterday! Just waiting for my Skyborne email now but I was due to go on holiday 30th June - 4th July which was booked last year. Do you think I would still be able to go on this? Or do you think the exams will be around that time?

Seriously panicked over my maths ability, haven't done academic maths since I was 16 in 2011! BBC bitesize sessions are getting crammed.

Anyone else worried about the maths?

You're only away for 4 working days so as soon as they email you and present you with the dates, get on the phone/reply to the email and I'm sure they'll accommodate date change - TUI gave the dates and you picked so these guys might do the same
If not, and they allocated a date that clashes, then you need to quick to get back to them

Or, pull out and give us a better chance - just kidding. I'm sure they will be empathetic and sort something out, after all, they have a lot of dates and people to play with

Do you know if they need completing in one sitting or can you dip in and out of them?

Unfortunately I wasn't successful this time. This was my first time applying for the scheme, and I am a young candidate (18) so I'm not too disheartened and will learn from the experience.

Just wondering if anyone knew of any other similar cadet schemes in place for other airlines? I'm lucky enough to have an EU citizen parent, hence granting me an EU passport which may mean that I could have the right to live/work/study in the EU so perhaps any EU cadet schemes available?

All the best to those still in the process! Keep the forum posted with your progress.

Am I correct in saying that this stage will be a virtual AND in person assessment?

If so, I believe Jerez is in person takes place first (might be entirely wrong)

From the email sent out from SkyBorne:'What happens after the Online Assessment?

Once you have completed all the tests, all you can do is wait. British Airways will be in touch to inform you of you result and next steps. If everything went well, you may be invited to an in person interview.'
