did you use anything to practice these different tests or just practiced CUT-e testing ?

Thanks for this - that was very observant of you - you obviously did well on the checking the detail exercise!!
Now you've got 500 people checking (so glad that you posted this as mine has changed so I'm feeling very positive)
Thanks again

Skyborne link you to AON for practice assessments. Does anyone have suggestions of other practice tests other than CUT-e?

What specifically is changing for you guys? When you log in, there are several things to click into. Is it inside the 'MY APPLICATIONS' section which would otherwise read 'Speedbird Pilot Academy (9296)', which now has the flight school name appended to the end?

I'm C surname and submitted 29th April. So by the alphabet theory, not positive.

Would be really curious to see if anyone else's starts to change today, that would give me a bit of hope.

If not its back to the PPL and hard saving
Can only cross fingers and hope. Hopefully more will change today.

Good sign!! All the best!
Where in the portal do you see this? Is that under the 'Applications' section where it would usually say "Speedbird Pilot Academy (9296)"?

I believe so yes. Really not holding much hope now that so many people have had theirs change.

If anyone has had theirs change noticeably today please do let us know! (As in, you checked earlier and it hadn't, but has been updated very recently)

Glad to see the ball rolling on more applications

For those who have not had their application title change, try not to worry. I believe none of us have had emails yet. There will be a reason they said next week for emails; plenty of time to go!

Just for reference, my surname begins with ‘M’ and I submitted the PA exercise on 24th April.

Are folks seeing updates for both 'FTE Jerez' and 'Skybourne'? Saw one comment so far for 'FTE Jerez'.
The assessment dates for 'Skybourne' were scheduled for a week earlier than those dates for 'FTE Jerez', so wondering if maybe those are being processed first? Only bit of hope keeping me going at the moment as I selected FTE Jerez preference

I didn't submit a preference and mine has been changed to Skyborne. I'm hoping they don't stick with the assessment being next week though as I'm working offshore right now!

Just have to hold on until told definitively either way..

May be that we’ve just been assigned a number to the application rather than alphabetical, and numbers 1-100 are dealt with by one project pilot, 101-200 by another etc. Or all the A’s being done by one person, B’s another…

They work through it and send rejections if its a straight no, theres a maybe pile for review, and yes goes to someone else to collate and stream to the flight school assessment.

I believe may BA have possibly had internal resourcing issues from speaking to someone, and the people reviewing these are also pilots required to fly doing this on the side

Who knows! All guesswork, BA said we’ll hear by next week and as hard as it is to to try and not be disheartened and fear the worse seeing others application change, just have to wait and see.

For reference I’m still waiting, submitted my application on the opening day, PA 26th, surname begins with C

Nice way to think of it A320. Thank you.

All the best to those with a positive indication, and fingers crossed for the rest of us. Will keep checking throughout the day (and weekend inevitably)

Anyone have a clue of how skybourne using 737 sims will apply for BA training ? Will completion of the course require then additional training on an A320 sim before you actually start working for BA?

Hey! Just to check when you click through under My Applications - has it changed from Speedbird Pilot Academy (9296) for you? Thanks in advance.

Also, a bit of context:
Surname B
Skyborne Preference
PA completed 27th April.

The use of the 737 sim is for the APS MCC qualification. This is working together within a multi crew environment and doesn’t have to be done on a specific type used by the airline.

Once you start with BA you will then undertake additional training on type (the A320) with BA type rating instructors/examiners to actually certify you for that aircraft.

This is the same for FTE Jerez students, they will just have the advantage of some familiarity with the A320 layout and some systems already/
