I was one of the first to do my PA - the 25th April, so I should have heard back today. Given that it's 6pm and I have received 0 correspondence, I will assume that I will receive my outcome tomorrow. Apparently no news is good news, but that remains to be seen. Will keep you all updated.

Not passing judgment on appearance, but for the sake of the conversation and my point, I think I spot perhaps 4 people who are 30y.o +. I think if you consider the sheer number of people in their 30s/40s that don't even bother applying because they don't think they stand a chance then perhaps the few in this photo are a good cross section and representative of entire applicants that applied. After all got to be in it to win it! Fact there are older candidates in this photo is a really positive thing for those more mature people who are considering it.

I did mine the day after you so tomorrow will be the 2 week mark for me. Undoubtedly this will be the BA careers team's busiest time of year and it wouldn't surprise me at all if the sheer volume of applications is more than they anticipated, especially with the pre-test guidance pack which may well have increased the number of people progressing through each stage.

Done my PA on 24th April, so two weeks yesterday. I am yet to hear anything- hoping this is a good thing!
I chose Skyborne as my preferred school, and remember seeing that the Skyborne applicants heard back a fair bit later than the FTE Jerez folk last year.
Hope that this isn’t the case this year, and that everybody receives good news soon

To add to your point, this is about a quarter of successful applicants and solely those with Skyborne. I know for my personal reasons, I chose FTE due to the location as I have a young family, I didn't want to be in Florida with time differences etc. Plus Jerez makes it easier for my spouse and kids to come out for a weekend to see me or for me to fly home for a few nights. Maybe others in the same position had the same thoughts? I don't think we can base anything off this photo really.
I remember seeing the photo for the successful Aer Lingus candidates heading on their training, there was a man easily in his early 50's...was great to see!! Definitely a very diverse range of ages in the pic too. It did seem to be a lot smaller of an intake though, compared with BA.

Even though they also said that they would let everyone know between the 20th May and 31st of May, every time her phone rings, she's a nervous wreck!

My phone notified me earlier that my screen time was up by almost double ha!
I'm a teacher, so whenever the students are working I am sat at my desk furiously swiping to refresh

There were some physics questions in the second round of testing last year - info can be found in this thread way back in October-December 2023. I agree it would be good to know what level of knowledge is necessary as most people won't have done physics since school!

Hey everyone, while looking back through this thread from earlier someone was asking about showing Scottish qualifications’ compatibility with GCSEs etc- I’ve got Nat 5s and Highers under my belt but am unsure whether I need to provide a letter from someone testifying to their compatibility?
Any help really appreciated.
