Interesting I understand the L3 cadets are currently in the CAE sims due to instructor shortages …

I have recently seen L3 Harris building in Crawley change the building colour outside from red to green so they must be going though the change of ownership.

Is L3 Harris taking new student for flight training?

Or is L3 Harris aviation training closing down?

I have had it worse, i am an international student and would be doing the easa only atpl and have told me numerous times that people from all around the world come and train at them, after having everything sorted and about 3 months before the course was about to (late june) begin i got an email from the “sales manager” stating they do not have EASA instructors in Florida and my practical would have to be done in cranfield for 10k more, i very reluctantly agreed, not knowing what i would get my self into, about 6 weeks before training started i got another training agreement titled “international student” to sign which came at 153k which was 40k more than what i had signed beforehand, when i told them im terminating my agreement because this is well above budget for me, they told me that they can charge me 119k excluding accommodation, the original agreement was 119k INCLUDING accommodation, i ONCE AGAIN reluctantly agreed, about 3-4 weeks before flying to crawley i called them to confirm that this is what i am paying them and that i will be doing easa only and not dual as this is what my contract said, it was like talking to a wall of bricks and they informed me that they no longer do easa and they can only offer caa, i found this out when i called THEM, I cancelled my agreement on the spot and they still hold my 23k deposit and are only able to refund the 20k

why were you still insisting on going to L3 after all these red flags? Plenty of good schools in EU to do your training and get an EASA License. PM me if you need help

It's a Human Factors thing - people make more effort to recover losses than they do to make the gain in the first place.
