Current I/R and available locally
I would be happy to go flying with you and I live in Suffolk so it might work. Are you planning local training IFR flights or is it the plan to go places??
I am current IFR with about 1000 hours in the IFR column
I am current IFR with about 1000 hours in the IFR column
I operate a TB from the Cambridge Area, I am looking for a current instrument rated pilot to join me on flights in the right seat, I am not after any cost share, I am happy to pay for the whole flight including landing fees etc.
I would like more of a buddy who is current in IR operations, I am looking to start my ATPL(A) Exams and complete the CPL, IR here in the UK. The main purpose is to try and get a head start on understanding IFR by practice under the hood (safety pilot in right seat) and learn more about IR flight. (this is why i want a current IR)
You are NOT giving instruction and you do not need to be an instructor, this is and will always be a PRIVATE flight with a flight buddy showing me the ropes and giving pointers and tips.
I have the following
EASA PPL, SEP(L), MEP(L), NIGHT, COMPLEX
If you are able to assist or would like to join me as a new flying buddy, then please do drop me a PM
Aircraft will be the TB10 or Seneca.
Thanks
VFR

Anyone want to fly in San Francisco, Seattle or Vancouver?
I will be in these cities over the next couple of weeks. I'd love to join up with someone who's already part of a club or who is able to hire an aircraft and do some sightseeing and tour flying, sharing the cost at the same time.
Is there anyone that fits this criteria? Please send me a message

After Christmas, when I have received my documentation and have a few more solo hours under my belt, I will be flying every Wednesday (assuming good weather) out of EGSR (Earls Colne near Colchester). Will have a choice of 3 aircraft, either 2 seat HR200 or 4 seat PA28 and Cessna 172. Any interested people please PM me and we can split fuel costs. I'll mostly just be doing leisurely flights around the local area, but happy to venture to other airports (such as Norwich, Cambridge, Southend etc). If you are already a pilot, especially interested to go other places and continue to learn from you.
Many thanks

I'd be interested in a trip in the TB-10. I'm new here and don't seem to have the facility to message you directly.
Can you try to PM me or please advise email for direct contact.
Thanks,

Is there anybody out there In Norwich vicinity looking for a right seater?
CAA and FAA Licenses lapsed back in the 90's when I moved to flying a desk. I'm just looking at getting back into it again so would welcome the chance to go flying. I'm great inflight entertainment, lots of good flying stories. And with summer around the corner would always by up for a North Atlantic ferry flight to check off the bucket list.
Have 3950 hours of which about 3400 is turbine. Would be fun to fly piston poppers again.
As I said, just looking as the thread is long and quite old, just like me...

Trans-Atlantic, UK to USA, 20 June - arriving USA around 30 June.
A number of planes, so some spare seats (and pilot-owners looking to share costs).
Let me know (prefer email rather than PM).
Safe flights, Sam.

Any pilots need some company
Hi I'm currently back learning to fly after a long stint away with the military. I'm based in Thurrock and was learning in a CTSW sports microlight. Unfortunately due to finances I wasn't able to start the learning process, but now I am thank god !. If there are any friendly pilots willing to give advice and maybe needing some company on fights I'd be really happy to tag along.
Many thanks
