flying in Alsace... Froggyland from above

Interested in flying.. I do fly in Habsheim, Alsace, France, mostly on PA18 and PA 19 also called the Piper Cub, but also on C172. If you would be interested on cost sharing basis... Very nice place, 4500 ft mountains called the Vosges in the area (Mountain flight with no danger). In Alsace, as everywhere in France, (not everything is bad here) you can have very good food, good white wine... after the flight of course.

RH seat in a twin

Hello all

I have a PPL (A) with night privileges, I am hoping that there is someone in the East midland who would be willing to let me sit in the right hand seat to get a feel of twins, I still have 84hours to run off to complete my 150 hours prior to starting any commercial licence, CAT 1 med permitting.
Iím a 46 yr old teacher looking for a career change after surviving cancer, so would like to see what itís like in a twin to see if I can hack it first.
I currently fly from the Merlin flying club in Hucknall but trained at Netherthorpe so Iím use to short runways.

Spare seat Bournemouth

Hi there, building remaining hours prior to commencing CPL/IR course. Based Bournemouth (don't be fooled by username!) and flying most days over next few weeks. If you're interested, pm me. Contribution towards lunch and landing fee only (reasonably priced airfields only!).

Looking for a seat

Hi There,
I am Italian and I have a ppl complex. I am coming to London 8-29 August 2011 and I will be available mostly during the week (or the full weekend of the 27-28 August).
I can offer to share the cost of the plane (please tell me that we share the piloting as well), some decent conversation, possibly a cofee when we touch down!
I would also welcome information about airfield around London (any but reacheable via public transport) where I may be able to self-hire myself an aeroplane.
Thank you!
Luca

There are plenty of places around London where you can hire. Where in London will you be staying?
I fly from Denham so PM me if that's of interest.

flying buddy from the South East

Hello.

I qualified with my fATPL last year and have been trying to get some work flying but with no such luck (bad times). I am looking into getting flying again (good times) and would really appreciate it if someone fancied some company in their plane, just so i can get back into the swing of things before i go up with an instructor.

Ideally I would like to fly from Blackbushe or Fairoaks, being that these are my closet airports, I am happy pay for landing fees and food etc.

If you would like to help a fellow pilot and have the company PM please.

Thanks

PLH-NQY September 2nd?

We are two aviation enthsiasts that collect UK airports and have tickets to fly EDI-PLH and PLH-NQY-DUB with Air Southwest (before that airline is history). However, the Royal Navy goes on leave every summer and closes their radar at HMS Drake which was an opportunity that Eastern Airways seized to close Plymouth earlier than planned. The result for us will be a no count at PLH, as we arrive from NQY by bus on the evening of September 1st and depart in the next morning by bus again to NQY.
We would still like to have a take-off and landing there, so if anyone could be of help and happens to be flying out PLH in the early morning of Friday September 2nd ...

Looking for a seat.

Hi everyone. I am a recent graduate from an FTO with a frozen ATPL. I'm looking for ways to keep flying and would be very grateful to anyone who would be willing to let me occupy a spare seat. I am happy to sit and enjoy the views, help out with r/t to leave you free to fly or anything else you'd like me to do. I am living in Oxfordshire so anyone going flying in this area, I would be very happy to hear from you.

Nick

Spare seats available next week and LAA rally

I have 5 spare seats available in a PA32 flying from a farmstrip near Bath/Bristol, happy to take anyone along for a small contribution towards fuel. Usually fly to destinations in UK, channel islands etc...

Doing a trip next Weds/Thurs, destination undecided, ideas welcome!

Hoping to go to the LAA rally at Sywell on Sunday 4th Sept and have spare seats then too.

Cheers

Dunsfold - Monday 29 August - fly to Wings & Wheels

Finally managed to get a slot and have 2 seats available from Rochester to Dunsfold (in a 180HP 172). Have to go early and not allowed out until airshow is finished - so all day visit. By flying in to the show, admission is £10 each rather than £22 on the door. Anyone local enough that would like a seat pm me.

(No Red Arrows but Vulcan should be there!).
