looking for a privat sightseeing flight in southern England next June

Dear PPRuNe-members,

We are planning (my wife and me) to spend our next holidays in southern England around June 2010.

I am looking for a possibility to get "2 airborne seats" preferably in a helicopter to see the scenic coast of your wonderful country.
I Think this could be the highlight of our trip and want to get it arranged somehow early enough.
No doubt about the cost (if it is in a "reachable" range of an engineer's salary)

If anybody is interested to fly around a german couple for a few hours (my pilot-license is already expired), it would be great to receive a PM.

Flying out of Daytona Beach

Hi All
I am flying out of Daytona Beach FL from 5th to 18th January to build some hours.

I am planning on doing some long XC trips as well as some local flights.

The person I was supposed to be sharing the flying with has had to drop out due to work commitments so any company would be welcomed!

Get in touch via PPrune initially.

Flying

Hi RJ 146,

I have the C182 based at Perth. We have a group of a few guys who fly on a regular basis. I'd be happy to take you up for a short flight and give you a go on a larger Cessna. Don't Crash though!!

Went flying on Friday it was a real struggle getting the plane out of the hangar, about 8" of snow. But it was worth it when we got up. Fantastic scenery and Scottish Info all to ourselves. Tricky landing though, first time landing on snow even though it was packed down on "runway"

Let me know when your next up. Did you know as a cottish Areo Club (SAC) member you can use the club room which is over toward the hangers. The training used to take place from there but was moved across to ACS recently. Unfortunately because of this its harder for new students to meet the local guys and girls who fly there regularly.

Cheers

Colin.

Would love a ride to France

Super long shot but if you don't ask....

I'm planning to go to France on or after 20th Feb, final destnation Gap in Southern Alps. If it was possible to accompany anyone on their flight to anywhere in France on 20/21/22nd that would be smashing.

Might even have my PPL by then (seriously)

Cheers

I fly from Duxford and hold a ATPL with IR and FI ratings.

I would be happy to take people up for a flight. I can offer guidance to anyone thinking of doing an IR or IMC or refreshing any flying techniques.

Maybe someone just Fancy's a flight who is thinking of doing a PPL or trying a different A/C type?

I have access to a C172, Robin HR200 and a PA28

I would ask I log the hours and a small amount is paid towards the fuel which would depend on the A/C.

Anyone interested can PM me on this site.....
Happy landings people

Spare seat at Breighton (yorkshire)

Hi

I am a low hour (fairly new) PPL with access to a PA28 based at Breighton. I fly weekends and the odd weekday as work allows. Happy to have a spare seat passenger (especially someone with experience as long as not too critical even better if knowledge/previous exp of a foreign flight). Sharing of cost appreciated. PM me for more info

Seek for US-Pilot in Essen-Muelheim/Germany (EDLE)

Hi Folks.

I´m seeking for a Pilot with FAA licence to fly with me. I´m 31 years old, us-private pilot with over 100 logged hours and I have a Piper PA28 Cherokee Warrior II (vfr) available for affordable charter fees.

The PA28 is N-registered and located in Essen-Muelheim / Germany (EDLE).

My intentions are "the fun factor", a little bit of learning (I prepare for IFR rating) and sharing expenses.

Are your interested?

call 0173 - 88 30 88 3
or
mail: [email protected]

So long

Alexander

Looking for Pilot/PLane C172/182 to fly around part of Europe for several days

Hi. I am looking for a pilot with PPl owning the plane/with possibility to rent one for 3-4 days trip around part of Europe. I use to study for PPL, have 76 hours and student PPL license from Belgium but did not finished it several years ago. Now I want to make a special several days for myself. I will pay rent of the plane + fuel + costs involved (fees etc..) + salary for instructor. And of course I would like to pilot the plane as well

Anybody interested or its totally unrealistic? Want to start asap. I am working in Germany/Norway/Denmark but apparently can start anywhere in Europe. Ideas where to go? Any usable advise will be appreciated

Thanks in advance!

Spare seat wanted!

Hi All,

I'm looking for any spare seats going in the midlands area. I'm based just north of Birmingham (So, Tatenhill, Wolverhampton, Derby, Coventry, Wellesbourne, etc or anywhere to be honest!) Can be free most days but mainly weekdays. I currently have an NPPL and just want to be up in the air and to gain more experience!

Cheers

Do you need to take a CRI(A) in your spare seat?

Hi all,

I am a CRI SEP(A) and have lots of spare time on my hands for various reasons and will have lots of time over the coming season.

If you have a spare seat and need to do your JAR-FCL(A) biannual flight then give me a shout and I will come along for the ride and help you make the most of your flying time. I have tailwheel and all differences so all bases are covered.

There are plenty of threads about the biannual flight and it is all pretty straightforward.

I am southwest based but can travel central England easily.

Drop me a PM if you need to do this.

Cool Trade Time For Time?

Hello Everyone,
I am quite a ways from most everyone in this thread. I live in Orange County, California, USA. I love to fly and I will do anything to get seat time logged or unlogged I just want to fly. I have my FAA PPL and 91.6 Hours TT(yes I am proud of that extra 1.6 hrs hahah).

I work at the flight school in Corona, California, based at KAJO and fly Cessna 150's 172's 172RG's Mooneys and Bonanza E-33's.
If you are in town and want a ride in a plane , let me know and we will go fly. If you are ever flying by and have a seat to fill i would love to tag along.

If it flies, you can count me in. Helicopters, Jets, Gyrocopters, Ultralights, Fixed-wing, Gliders, heck id even wing walk if theres room .
