How to disable "infinite scroll" and return to old pagination style

  1. Go to User CP https://www.pprune.org/usercp.php
  2. Click Edit Options
  3. Click "Disable Infinite Scroll"
  4. SAVE
NOTE: Due to a bug, this cannot be undone at this time, so be sure you want it off!

NOTE 2: On mobile devices it may not be possible to turn off IS.

I find scroll handy if you want to print a thread (to say PDF). With scroll off, you have to print each page separately; with scroll on, you just print once and you get a multi-page PDF.

Excellent. Thank you.

Now I just need to be able to click on the "Go To First New Post" icon and have it go to the first new post that I haven't read, which could be a few days ago, and not today's first post.

The little "Go to first new post" arrow will take you to the first new post since the last time you checked that thread.

Can you state the issue, exact steps to reproduce, as well as your system info:
  • device
  • browser
  • mobile skin or desktop?

Dell XPS13 / Chrome / PPRuNe NG skin

If I leave more than 24 hours between visits, the 'go to first new post' and 'thread with new posts' bolding fails to work properly, as though the memory for these items only goes back a day at most. See screen shots in the previous thread for examples. There are at least two other people who have seen the same issue, and I've changed laptop and used other browsers since first reporting this.
