22 something years old in 1964 and 'seen active service with RNZAF'? Hmmmm
The RNZAF sent Venom's and Canberra's during the Malayan Emergency in the early 60's.

Well there you go; learned sumthin new, so my day has bin worthwhile!:ok:

VH-XXX 24th Jul 2013 10:13

I can't quite beat Piano Man's picture, it needs to be on the water for starters... There should be a few out there that know where this is taken and unfortunately floatplanes aren't allowed on the closest lake

From outside the airport fence I took a couple of photographs of an Antonov (the one that "kneels") at Sharjah airport. Got a tap on the shoulder from airport security... was allowed to leave about 2 hours later after a very polite interview - without my film!!! I learn very quickly!!

Ultralights 25th Jul 2013 02:59

Pretty sure its an Allego, Pipistrel have no lift struts.

VH-XXX 25th Jul 2013 04:19
