PS2A, the latter photos were of Afghanisatan looking up towards Kabul (northbound).

The shot of the airfield is some tin pot town on the border between Pakistan and Afghanisatan. The picture didn't do it justice because it was a lot steeper than it looks and finished at the mountain. Definitely a one way strip!

TCU,

No worries, just a guess! It all looks much the same N of PH anyway, flat brown dry... Driven to Broome and back twice, never again!

Cheers,

Z:ok:

Nice photo slackie!!

Few lasers, and of course the venerable pitts up the end! The black laser in the forground looks real nice. Love to have a go!! :}

Cheers

slackie 22nd Mar 2007 09:17

PS2A - Not quite lasers....

Anyone else?? Who can pick the types??

kiwi_hockey_guy 22nd Mar 2007 09:58

Not too sure what NUT is, but there is a Ziln and an edge 540...

jetstar1 22nd Mar 2007 10:21

NUT looks like a Giles 202?

podbreak 22nd Mar 2007 13:10

That ain't a laser in the foreground, thats a 540, shes very nice indeedy...

AEIO-540 22nd Mar 2007 14:02

Starting at the front of the pack.

1. Edge 540
2. G202
3. Zlin 50
4. Pitts S1
5. Pitts S1
6. Pitts S-2B

What a line up.

slackie 22nd Mar 2007 18:57

AEIO-540 Good effort!
And missing from the line up is another S1 and a Robin, and (that we hope to see next year) are Rob's Sukhoi Su29 and Doug's new MX2, and I believe there's a couple of Yaks (52s and a 55) floating around down south.
That'll make a pretty cool picture!!
EDIT - All the practice (unofficial and official) is done now...competition proper today...must get that avalanche in the Intermediate sequence nailed!!!
And from the other end of the line....
