Yes, you have to read the whole thing... :E

Townsville is correct. Taken yesterday or the day before, I believe. Some more from YBTL. I don’t know who took the photos, they were emailed to me by a co-worker, who had them emailed to her by an ex co-worker of hers.

Whats the fishing like this time of year?

ForkTailedDrKiller 3rd Feb 2007 05:16

HeliJet - "on finals somewhere in California???"

In what?

FTDC:cool:

ForkTailedDrKiller 3rd Feb 2007 05:20

PM - I would have been able to answer that but my 7 year tradition of fishing the Hinchinbrook Channel on opening day of the Barra season got WASHED OUT in 2007!

The fishing should be good after all the rain - and even better over the next few years.

Berg-NZ

Its been a while for me but.....

The first one - heading up the Landsborough with the Clark junction off to the left?

Dixons Cider 4th Feb 2007 07:47

Ahhhh just re read the post.

If its from CHC through the Alps then it aint the Clark.
Thought it was up the Clark, up and over to the left and down the ____ river towards lake Moeraki.

Like I said, it been a few years. :( :{ :{

Dixons Cider 4th Feb 2007 08:04

By the way berG - no shame in driving the traumahawk. We've all had to do it, or similar at some time.
Just be careful in those hills and always have an 'out', preferably two.
