Dogimed, great pics! One of the finest acft to ever fly!:ok:

Jabawocky 2nd Apr 2008 23:21

By the tie down area and the BP in the back it looks like YMOR perhaps.

I have no idea who owned it, so a wild guess is in order, and the only one I can think of is FLOPT. Thats a wild guess!

Great Aircraft, Brilliant Photography

Dogimed – a great aircraft and a brilliant photograph. As many of us are budding photographers, please share with us how you where able to take it.

PM me if you prefer to keep your secrets.

Brame,

Unfortunately I was not the photographer..

www.warbirdz.net and Glenn Alderton took these on my behalf.

Tuesday May 1 18:15 local time. I think he was late.

So, now only one left. Most of you have flown over it probably, actually very likely.:8

1) Where is?

2) Which Prooner used to own this aeroplane?
1) YMOR - because Jaba said so...
2) FTDK?

185skywagon 4th Apr 2008 02:11

Doc,
looks a bit like the country around Sedan Dip.

Must also have been a Deane family outing???

185.

ForkTailedDrKiller 4th Apr 2008 05:44

185, cattle yard strip on Ambo, between Longreach and Muttaburra.

Yes, 3 Deane aircraft (only one of which is still in the family), and one private hired Mooney from Sunland at YBAF.

Flying Binghi 4th Apr 2008 07:06

Hmmm... a simple google search of 'weheka' answers my question :O

Weheka 4th Apr 2008 07:17

Yes, west side of Cook, Fox Glacier to be exact. In the old days the township was called Weheka.

Weheka 4th Apr 2008 07:20

Yes I did thanks mate, I could still change my mind on the whole thing, got six months or so to decide.

Weheka 5th Apr 2008 05:05
