In the light of the Coroner's findings and the ATSB release, what justification for CASA's suspension of Whyalla Airline's AOC and eventually putting that carrier out of business?

i guess i'd like to ask, so does this justify "us" demanding the resignation of those involved, or is this perhaps something they've learnt from and if they see the error in their collective ways, would better serve the industry in their present positions now enlightened by this experience ?.
if the answer is "yes, sack them", i feel this type of incident will continue to happen, i.e new faces continueing this back room arm twisting and hypothesizing.
This "fanciful" method of resolving hard questions is not the answer.
If constructive dismissal can be proven in court, can constructive bankrupting by action or inaction be also proven ?.

You present me with a dilemma.
I am no lawyer but I am sensitive to this Forum getting in the way of a legal stoush.
Discussion here is normally pretty robust and I must admit to reading Creampuffs "offending" post in that light and the common understanding that early employment contract terminations at the higher levels of the troposphere are more often than not accompanied by "large bags of money" and some form of confidentiality that is "keep quiet".
They do not of necessity have sinister overtones and may simply reflect an unexpected change of circumstances which affects both parties.
I have met both Messrs Anderson and Toller in various environments and without any equivocation, find them both to be fine, decent and principled people.
If that is realpolitik as I understand it, then that's what it is.
If it is something else, then you both need to retract/remove the comment and apologise unreservedly to the persons named.

As I said I'm no lawyer, but doesn't your repeating of the "offending words" attributed to Creampuff produce the same result.?
We are particularly sensitive at the moment as a PPRuNer has recently made slanderous comments in another thread which may yet attract legal attention.

I hope you’re not really as stupid as your posts suggest.
If you think my words were untrue, why are you, through PPRuNe, continuing to publish them?
If they are defamatory, then you’re exposing yourself and PPRuNe to the same risk as arose from the quoted post, if not a greater risk given the duration of publication.
Putting the words “someone else said” in front of your statement doesn’t save you or PPRuNe, if you choose to make the statement and PPRuNe chooses to leave it there.
