That's over aviation, marine, and rail - and it's notifications, not raw incidents. I expect most of the accidents are train-related simply because of the large amount of train traffic in cities. Combine (a) people being silly - restrictions for train travel are much looser than for aircraft, and (b) potentially tens of notifications for the same incident, and you'd get that 46 per day easily.
So, a multi million dollar insurance claim lodged and Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures Troy Thomas claims the aircraft is in their Broome hangar ?

I think you will find of the 46 per day, most are aviation, mainly because ATC have to submit inane "incident" reports on the most trivial things. e.g. Having QFA933 and QFA923 on freq at same time, some controllers are submitting incidents listed as Possible callsign confusion. You could then have multiple controllers in different submitting the same incident. If they think it could lead to an incident, why don't they follow the change callsign examples in AIP to avoid the possible incident. There are plenty more examples at this level of stupidity.
Emirates last week introduced alpha numeric callsigns across its Australian flights in an effort to reduce incidents. Etihad also is on selected flights.
So who is telling lies about a crashed plane a huge insurance claim here? Where is the ATSB? This is an airline category aircraft? All lies, fraud or coverup?

Clearly the ABC news has their facts wrong.
False news here, unless the Company operates 2 X VH PGA's and one of them did in fact sink.
One of the VH-PGA's was shown to the ABC by Thomas, sitting high and dry in his hangar DAYS AFTER the other VH-PGA's alleged sinking in Talbot Bay on 15th March?

No matter what field I use at the CASA registration search site - tried "Cessna 208" and "2080031" - the result was always "no record".

Not to forget the little amphib that plummeted to the bottom when its mooring rope broke at the Koolan Island wharf in mid-80's.
The rope wouldn't support the weight of the aircraft, suspended vertically, when the tide went out.
Crew were enjoying some Sunday refreshments at the KI Wet Mess.

Hey 'WN',
I saw a prawn trawler do exactly the same thing in 'Sam's Creek' near Pt Samson, WA in '71......
The silly little men had it tied up 'tight' to the jetty on a 'full tide', and then 'retired' into the very local 'tinny club'....completely unawares that the tide was dropping at an 'alarming' rate,
as it does up there, and the heavy fibreglass trawler, (the 'Reliant'), firmly lashed to said jetty, simply pulled the whole jetty into the creek...on top of said trawler...!!!
Took them months to raise it, dry it out, rebuild said jetty.....
Oh Dear!!
So, I can imagine the scene......

When aircraft was raised, with island police assistance, there was an unlicensed firearm on board.
Very sad bunch.
Aircraft was small, single engine amphib with engine pod over the fuselage.
Maybe a pusher. I forget what they were called.
