Thumbs up

I didnt get a chance to look at the figures while I was there... I was too busy washing, maintaining, mowing, moveing, cleaning, stacking, re-organising, stealing printers, washing, maintaining, writing power point presentations, (stimulating), de-cob webbing, de-flooring, rideing the bus to Hedland and back, grounding planes, stuffing up the paper work, being recieptionist, scapegoating, washing, maintaining, flying and praying that I wouldnt die in a ball of flames the next day as im sure CC and KR were praying I would (ok so hopeing over an ale at the spinni).

Not really any point to this post, just trryingto keep this on the front page!

Oh, so posting without actually saying anything bumps this thread back to the top? I think I understand . That would be annoying to those people with an interest in seeing it out of the limelight. Write any presentations on how to ground an aircraft ?

Still interested?

Avi8r
Not sure if you are still interested but here is some info for you.

The CP cannot help but interfere with your flight. Radio contact that goes on for hours while you are flying, he wants to be in command of your aircraft while he is flying his.

The owner of the company will do the exact same thing to make sure you are not able to focus on your job. Imagine, in IMC, at night, after your third missed approach into Halls Creek Capt K calls you on Centre and tells you to call the CP on the phone. High workload, high pressure, and then these two Fwits start playing their game. The phone call achieves nothing but cost you more money on the phone bill that they will not pay you for and adds to the frustration of a flight at night in bad weather.

There is going to be a serious incident that makes the news and the journos are going to start looking for more info on GEA. Then this thread is going to hit the news. I think there will be alot of questions about why nothing was done before it was too late.

To top it all off you have to pay $5500 ($500 GST) for the pleasure of 10 weeks of this crap.

Here's an idea - tell him to off.

Brazman,

If you or someone else paid $5500 to work for someone on a PA31 for 10 weeks, then you/they are an idiot, no matter how good or bad the operator is. Well done on dragging the industry down even lower and screwing over people who had progressed from the C206 up and had to wait while you paid for your 10 weeks of glory.

GetOffMyBack, you will find that not every (and indeed not most of the) GA companies feel the need to screw over their employees. I think it only fitting that ones who do be named as doing as such in this day and age.

However I would venture that by "paying for playing" in the way that is being portrayed in the posts above (if indeed that is what is happening), then one reaps what one sows.... Think about that for a while before getting back to me with some hot-headed reply.

I can not see a problem with "paying for playing". I got the time and made a few contacts. NOw I am FO on a trransport cat aircraft and in a few months will have a command. I will pay the bond off in dribs and drabs over the next two years and I am all the for it. Beats hanging around for years and paying $5500 every time you move from 206, bongo, chieftain. Or worst still being in the store or ops for a year and not flying at all.

And I say it again, you're exactly the reason aviation is becoming so fked up! Ruin it for everyone.

I know of a number of people who haven't been held up because they didn't pay for endorsements. You must have been either; a) an asshole, or b) crap at what you did.

Roll up, roll up. Everyone come and see. Here we have BRAZMAN, who represents the sc*m of the industry.

Morno,

I know of a number of people who haven't been held up because they didn't pay for endorsements. You must have been either; a) an asshole, or b) crap at what you did.
From what I've heard, it's a) AND b).

Brazman,
Through the wonders of modern techology, it is revealed that when you first joined pprune and posted here on page 3 your alias was gkmfly

As gkmfly you wrote:
Since your full-time, you don’t pay for any Instrument Rating Renewals, Line or Base checks, plus you get unlimited use of an Elite 6 simulator and ongoing ‘Check and Training’ at no additional cost to the pilot.
By the sounds of your attempts to fly a PA31 it sounds like you needed to listen a little more carefully to your check and training pilot.

As the company is very BIG on ‘Check and Training’ and they tend to make an investment in you, all they ask is that you give them a minimum commitment of 12months.
Is that "all they asK"? Looks like they should never have given you a job given you only did 10 weeks.

I think we all need to remember that companies (aviation and non-aviation) all over Australia (and the world) have ex. employees that will jump at any opportunity to put them down.
and then, as Brazman you wrote:

There is going to be a serious incident that makes the news and the journos are going to start looking for more info on GEA.

and this
High workload, high pressure, and then these two Fwits start playing their game.
You were correct about your assertion that ex-employees get stuck into their previous employers. As shown, by yourself. Smells like..... hypocrite. And your very last piece of wisdom:

To top it all off you have to pay $5500 ($500 GST) for the pleasure of 10 weeks of this crap.
No, you don't have to pay. You chose to pay because your are an hole, willing to pay money to fly an aeroplane you were already endorsed on just to jump to the front of the cue of hard working, conscientious employees who have put up with the conditions for a hell of a lot longer than 10 weeks.

Brazman, a few little bits of advice before you head off...

1. Don't forget to put the wheels down
2. Remember that many, many people related with your current/future employers now know who you are. Better start studying REAL, REAL hard for that check to line...

Look, the last thing I wanted to do is start a fight over this.
All I am saying is that you can go there and pay the money, get the time and some more training so you look better in your next interview. You can pay it off over time so it is not a big cost and you get a better job alot quicker. I just wanted to tell Avi8r what it is like there.
The only thing I would change is not answer the phone in the plane.

If you do not want my advice then why ask for it?

Well whoop dee doo. As Kenny the plumber would say: "Next thing you'll know he'll want a golden handshake and a brass band. What a muppet."

and in a few months will have a command.
Ha. That's what you think. Can't believed you swallowed that.

Look, the last thing I wanted to do is start a fight over this.
Then you shouldn't have paid money to climb over the poor bastards who really have done some hard yards.

You have failed to respond to the fact that you blew the company up to be fantastic and upset a lot of people who knew differently, only to change alias and go against everything you said originally. I think M4 called it two faced....

To get in your wonderful, right hand braz seat you have degraded the GA industry and the conditions of the people working in it. As for the comment about not working in the office for a year, the guy who up until recently did a long stretch in the ops office might have waited a year but he is a decent, moral person and come time to fly, 90% of the guys out there would much rather him next to them in a braz than your cocky ass. He is a top fella, is honest and upfront, works hard, treats people with respect and every single person through the company in the last year knows that and come his time will do their best to give him a leg up in the industry.

Then this thread is going to hit the news.

THAT, my friend, is the only thing you have got right. In particular, your attitude and self pr*stitution will be and has already "hit the news" amongst your fellow pilots at your new company. Hopefully your checkie is reading right now...

whoa 4X, deep breaths my friend, deep deep breaths. You going to give yourself a vapor lock and lose your medical.

I find myself wondering if Brasman is really who he seems to be? Although a weazel as GKMFLY the words used by Brasman seem very strong. This is what he was thinking all the time he was blowing hot air as GKMFLY but for a person like him to to actually stand up and say it would take a heart-lung-brain-spine transplant. Time will tell. Morons like him find it hard to keep their mouths shut long enough to keep anything secret.

Anyway, keep those deep breaths going 4X and I shall PM you the location for the GEA employees 12 step support meeting. Not that it is a secret, it is usually at the Spinny . Hope we get paid next week so I can afford some sedatives to share with you.
