Would there be a B727 also parked nearby, with a huge hole in it's guts?

In that case I'll take a stab at Emma Gorge, looking south west?

Yep, I'm thinking Emma Gorge too. Although, there's a couple of strips around there that could fit the bill. I'd have to get out of bed and rat through the log book to find them.

Hey redsnail, I'd be hedging towards Emma Gorge as well. Although I am (like yourself) talking about ancient history since I last landed at Emma.

By the way does Emma Gorge strip still have a massive dip in the middle and on T/O do you still have to check for traffic on the Gibb river Rd, to ensure you don't put your wheels through the roof of an unsuspecting 4wd?

ps redsnail do you still remember doing drop offs at Home Valley and then as a rat pack hooking through the gorges in the Cockburn Range on the way back to Kunnas......ahh...memories.

Emma Gorge it is! The lens exaggerates the strip profile a little.
