Moroa fortsetter!

Probably because it doesn't involve you.

DY

The future looks bright: asian/spanish crews with low time MPL´s.......
Someone needs to stand up to this, otherwise our future as professionals with halfdecent T´s and C´s will soon be gone....

Kort oppsummert

Oppsummert:

1. "erfarne" personer som betaler for egen simsjekk
2. 100-timer-PIC-wonders
3. MPL

Anyone have an informed estimate of the number of applicants as of today? As mentioned in a previous post - I've heard 4500 - but if that is the case, what is the reason to invite another few thousand to apply?

better chances than winning the lotto yes
But in lotto money goes into your account
Jokes aside, good thing that they are still taking on people.
But will they take norwegians? Mr. Kjos said earlier they were done with hiring her på berget

Good point berserker

Hmm, he said that, but you wouldn't be able to give Norway-based crews anything other than Norwegian T&Cs (unless you want a general strike and long-drawn conflicts). Commuting staff from Eastern Europe makes little sense, so hopefully he will?

The 787 crews will apparently be Thai and American. Will be funny seeing DY long-haul crew having more in common with TG + CO people than with their own European-based colleagues.

It doesn´t take a rocket scientist to realize that their lowering of hiring minimums is based on nothing else but lowering T&Cs. Neither the MPL-guys nor the other student pilots will earn 500K NOK, that´s for sure.

I am not sure I can even find the proper word for this.. oh yes, despicable.

Two funny things of note:

1: You´re considered an "applicant" even during line training
2: They actually feel a need to confirm you get a hotel when on night stops and regular duty. Not quite BA, eh?
