They really don’t care what it makes them look like. If I was the Ukrainians I would look to repay the compliment on the Orthodox Christmas, but it would be a bit obvious. Of course you could always drop a certain bridge on New Years Eve as a spectacular end to 2024 or opener for 2025. The defences maybe slightly distracted by the inevitable alcohol.
