Anti aircraft missiles have a distinctive explosion, plenty of vids. Doesn't match with this explosion. There is also a second strike, doubt two pantsir missiles at the same spot.

Imagine the horror of BTR crew and infantry, when suddenly you face a tank shooting at you.


Then the tank is coming closer and destroys your unit from point-blank.

Ukraine to receive 36 Serbian MiG-29s from France

Serbia has signed a contract with France for the purchase of 12 Rafale fighter jets for €3 billion. Part of the amount — $390 million — will be covered by the delivery of 36 MiG-29s to Paris.

The fighters will arrive in France in December, and will then be handed over to Ukraine.

Moscow has, reportedly, been informed.

The Serbian MiG-29SE have an improved radar for the simultaneous attack of two targets, the ability to use RVV-AE (R-77) missiles and an increased combat load of up to 4,000 kg.

but really, how would they know, it may have been a Tesla, it burnt well enough, and it may not have had a driver at all, bless AI, like a Lada version of a Waymo. Not much chance of finding much forensic evidence to support the contention of there being a driver at all.

Well, golly, that is inventive. Reminiscent of lead cauldron pour off the ramparts of a castle. Putin is advancing Russia into medieval ages at an impressive rate, with Ukrainian ingenuity illuminating their path.

That might get a reaction from the UN or ICRC, but as they appear to have a loss of identity and certainly purpose, perhaps not. A great incentive to go home though, and a disconcerting new manner to mess about in the rear of a "superior" force by a savvy and adept smaller force. Wonder how long until those are available on eBay in Taiwan.

This "modern/medieval" warfare is becoming pretty effective at messing up participants and bystanders, seems like an unfortunate alternative to removing one x kleptocratic sociopath from his perch at the 6th floor window sill.

Then give them western weapons and they would not need to make their own!

As Russkies have been shelling Ukrainian cities and civilians with white phosphorus since day one, I'd say "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes".

Not sure why that would be a whole lot different than using Napalm - which has been widely used in previous wars...

It's Putins means to destroy Ukrainian drones by blowing up POL facilities, and power stations and bridges, T-80's etc, Pretty clever tactic really, seems to be taking out lots of drones by doing this method.

More a question of who it is used on. Russia loves schools, hospitals, museums, train platforms as bombing targets. If there is further derision it is not the weapon but why it is used. Russia uses them to steal land and kill civilians and destroy homes. Ukraine is using them for defense.

I don't deride a porcupine for leaving a face filled with needles on an animal that seeks to kill it, though even then the porcupine is usually an attempted meal. Russia has not even that need to attack Ukraine.

This war is solely driven by the desire of the wealthy in control of Russia to remain obese in their wealth and that makes every Russian action an obscenity.
