The image may be current, a lot of them have sat for a long time and have engines missing etc, I bet a lot has been cannibalised for spares or simply have been stolen. However they could get the odd one to ferry to a place to refurbish them.

Have to say- albeit as someone with no knowledge of the oil-industry - I can't believe that they have destroyed 12% of Russia's refining capacity.in 2 days as Bloomberg claims. Believable for me would be " have hit refineries responsible for 12% of ......" which might then mean destruction of 1-2% ( pure guess ) refining capacity.

That apart what is the latest on destruction of Patriots ? I read in a couple of places that two launchers had been hit, but numerous other sources like Denys Davidov and Reporting from Ukraine have said nothing and they are normally completely honest AFAIK. Then there was a claim from a Russian source that they had hit a S-300 battery, but which was also not mentioned anywhere else. If this were completely clear, then I would have expected Putin to be on TV awarding a five-year supply of eggs to the successful Iskander ( ? ) commander, but there has been silence on their side too.

Russia today released a video showing the destruction of 3 Ukrainian helicopters, apparently Mi-8s, at an improvised airfield in Donetsk.

The first attack was with cluster bombs, followed by guided missiles.

The helicopters are already posted see 9240. and they lost two, if you watch the follow on strike there are only two left on the ground as the third one had departed. The clusters missed it.
