Note worthy from current leaks - Russia has 527 (97%) of its 544 battalions commited to Ukraine. With 474 (90%) of those inside Ukraine.
The Russian army outside of Ukraine area, including in all other possible flash areas such as Georgia, is effectively non existent. |

You just have to love the Ukrainian resolve, it will have Russia either cancelling the parade or needling to ramp up the defence.

From The Telegraph an hour ago:
Russia has destroyed a depot containing 70,000 tonnes of fuel near the southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia, the Russian defence ministry said on Sunday. It also said Russian forces had destroyed Ukraine army warehouses storing missiles, ammunition and other artillery weapons in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions. Earlier on Sunday, Ukrainian authorities said a 50-year-old man and his 11-year-old daughter were killed after Russian forces struck a residential building in the city of Zaporizhzhia. A 50-year-old man and his 11-year-old daughter were killed after Russian missiles struck a house in the southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia, officials said on Sunday. It was the latest Russian strike on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. "The enemy carried out a missile attack on Zaporizhzhia and killed another Ukrainian family," the head of the State Emergency Service, Sergiy Kruk, said on social media. |
Good video.
Ukrainian report on the NASAMS air defence systems currently effectively used by the military to protect the Ukrainian skies. |

A video circulating in Russian channels with a Ukrainian M113 which allegedly drove on a mine. Wouldn't have posted it otherwise, but the Russian soldier filming is saying that the bodies of fallen soldiers were stripped of boots but also beheaded, and their arms were removed as well... I won't be translating this but the man is approving of these actions.

Poor sods taking a mortar hit. One who is wounded is wearing a Union Jack on his Jacket. He speaks to him in English and is answered in English too. Quote from another post.
Russia's state propaganda channel publishes this video which I publish unedited: "A video of the likely death of a mercenary from Britain in the Donbas came into the possession of RIA Novosti. The recording was made on the action camera of a Ukrainian soldier who later died." .. |

Well, someone on Russian TV is probably on the naughty step.

Russia is also worried that the leaked documents if genuine and not a ruse contains detailed information on the Russians that the US shouldn’t know.

Denmark to start sending Ukraine Leopard 1 tanks before summer – minister Ukraine will start receiving Denmark’s Leopard 1 tanks before summer, up to 100 can be sent in total, Denmark’s Acting Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen said at a briefing with Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov in Odesa on 10 April, Ukrinform reports. “We will start delivering Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine before summer. And then, hopefully, looking half a year ahead, it will be possible for us to donate about 100 Leopard 1 tanks, and that, I’ll say, would be a substantial thing for Ukraine’s army,”Poulsen said. Also, the Ukrainian troops are now trained in Denmark to operate the French-made Caesar self-propelled howitzers, which Ukraine might receive next month, according to him. The Kampfpanzer Leopard 1 first entered service in 1960s. Denmark has Leopard 1A5 tanks, an upgraded version from the 1980s, having an updated fire control system and night vision. |
