Personally I still think Male and Female is the way to go, as a male identifying as a female or vice versa is covered under one or both and that goes for the reverse. A person who has undergone a sex change or are on that path are also covered until the operations are completed with Male/Female or vice versa.

I am utterly outraged by your efforts to dis the word 'manipulate' purely on the basis that it contains the word 'man' within it. Are you blind? Can't you see it also contains the word 'nip' as well, which almost completely balances things up? OK, in your defence, it would require a pair of nips to be equal to one man, but as it also contains 'nipul', which is close enough to complete the pair of nips, what more do you want, man? Now I'm left wondering, is it OK to have the word 'ate' right next to a 'nipul'? Damn, why does life have to so complicated! As for a man intertwined with a nipul - I think I need to sit down for a rest.

And these people are choosing this moment to get worried about the perceived "gender" of certain names and job titles ?? Wouldn't it be a little more useful to engage in planning what we do if Cretin, sorry, Putin presses the big red button, and/or invades the Shetlands, or the Faroe Islands for example?
