Panicked by the BEF's advance on the Marne, yet blissfully unaware they are already under observation, Fritz and Hans take to anything with pedals. A far higher intelligence could be forgiven for failing to anticipate the now-famous name this pathetic scene would inspire when another BEF faced its own darkest hour.
