Complex weapons are not easy to manufacture especially when production volumes are in the low thousands. There is a real issue with obsolescence when orders stop and production ceases but the march of technology continues. Most systems use just-in-time supply chains and hence starting these up is pretty much impossible once the lines are closed and machine tools etc. are scrapped. Then there is a small problem with skilled staff who are transferred onto other production tasks or simply laid off. So to answer, manufacturing had not stopped for the latest new products but once production ceases for that product it's very difficult or near impossible to restart.

Then lets hope the war ends before we run out. I can't see the West giving Ukraine our current equipment.
Just speaking for the UK we gave them all our AS90 artillery and are awaiting replacement Archers from the Swedes, plus a large percentage of our Starstreak, NLAW, Storm Shadow, Brimstone etc.
And we are far down the list compared to others....

We already have some of the Swedish Archers and have a competition going to find the next artillery system. They got rid of the AS 90 because it had simply became obsolete due to its maximum range no longer being effective. An artillery piece is no good if the enemy can kill it while you cannot reach their artillery.

We didn’t run out, we’d flogged it off, war reserve appears to be something we no longer do. Tragic as it is, it is a short term financial gain for a long term loss.
Tabs please!

No, it was a case of returning money to the tax payer where the kit had expired, and there was a friendly market. When Putrid popped his head up, every cupboard was opened for Ukraine. You do know how all of those NLAW systems got there in time to slow the initial advance ?

BREAKING:
Ukrainian Cessna-type airplane drones are striking the ELAZ Naftoprodukt oil refinery in Alabuga, in the Tatarstan region of Russia.
A Russian suicide drone factory in the same town was also struck.
Ukraine is 1250 km away
Russian media report one more drone attack in Russian Tatarstan - at TANEKO oil refinery plant in Nizhnekamsk.
TANECO includes a complex of oil refineries and petrochemical plants, including ones under construction in the city of Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Tatarstan, Russia.
⚡️New details of the attack on the Tatarstan oil refinery: joint operation of the Security Service of Ukraine and Ukrainian Defense Intelligence, sources say.
A Ukrainian long-range drone hit a primary oil refining unit at the Nizhnekamsk refinery, causing a fire. The capacity of this unit was 8 million tons of oil, which is 2.6% of Russia's total annual refining capacity. Moreover, this plant is one of the five largest refineries in Russia.
"We continue to work systematically to ensure that the Russian Federation has fewer opportunities to finance the war of conquest against Ukraine. We will continue to block oxygen to the petrol pumping country to minimize the flow of petrodollars to the Russian military budget," the SSU source said.

Early in the war there was a developed concept using a light aircraft modified as a drone to hit targets at greater distances, but it was not used, the drone you see looks very much like the ultralight twin seater they used which is a home built aircraft.
It does look very similar too their home built Aeroprakt A22LS Foxbat

Sort of ruins the decoy effect lol, or maybe it is a cunning plan, paint a Helicopter over it to make it look like a real one is there.

Russia is now having to source fuel supplies from Belarussia, so prices are rising.
