Fingers crossed….

At night, a large-scale fire strike was carried out at the Saki military airfield in the temporarily occupied Crimea

According to Censor NET sources in the Security Service, there were at least 12 combat aircraft (Su-24 and Su-30) at the airport, as well as the Pantsir air defense system.

The Mojaher UAV operator training base was also located there. It is these drones that the Russians use to coordinate their own air strikes, as well as as a combat strike drone.

Strikes by the Security Service and the Naval Forces hit the target and caused serious damage to the occupiers' equipment. Drones were used to defeat the enemy, which overloaded Russian air defense, and then they launched Neptune missiles.

Russian propaganda is hard at work trying out new strategies!

While it appears that the moronic alcoholic General Gurulyov was allowed to state on state TV😁 that the lies must be stopped, there's clearly something else at work here.

They're preparing their populace for the defeat. Of the army. Not of Putin’s regime. They're trying to preserve the latter by making people believe that the former made bad decisions based on faulty information from the front.

Gurulyov: “This is the distortion of the initial data used for making decisions based on it. So if the initial data is crooked - the decision will be crooked. This is where the problem lies.”

NO PLACE TO HIDE: On 19 SEP, UKR conducted an air strike targeting command elements RU's 7th Airborne Division south of Kherson.

The Russian VChK-OGPU milblog admitted that as a result of the strike, "Many offiers died”.

The post went on to claim, "the exact number of victims has been carefully concealed. At the time of the shelling, the paratroopers had been undergoing daily planning.”

Not much of a threat when you know there is 0% chance of that happening.

It's too bad it's not possible to argue that it was the USSR that was awarded permanent membership of the UN, not Russia.

Equally it was the ROC (Taiwan) which lost its seat to the PRC. So it can be done through the General Assembly.

It's still better to keep talking. If nothing else, then the other side can't make accusations of being shut out in violation of the principle of free speech and representation for all. Surely one of the tenets of the council. You hand them a propaganda victory.

Sad to say but there may in turn yet also be bigger fish to fry. If we faced another Cuban Missile Crisis (some might argue this is one!), how would we deal with that then? Rely solely on back channels? Those certainly helped in 1962. But the UNSC certainly proved to be a good window so the whole world could see the Soviets disingenuous and ultimately humiliated.

So just keep pouring on the war crimes evidence in NYC and watch they and their (few) allies tire.

Satellite images of the remains of the Black sea fleet ( backup?) command post struck the other day. It looks like one complete wing is gone.

It looks like Ukraine may have had a good hit on Russian Naval Aviation airfield in occupied Saky, Crimea, Ukraine.

The attack opened with the launching of multiple UAVs to overwhelm Russian air defenses followed by the launching of Neptune anti-ship cruise missiles that were converted for use against land targets. There are reports that multiple targets were hit causing serious damage to "equipment." Russian sources also confirmed "serious losses" during the attack including at least 30 KIA's.

Didn't the Ukrainians clobber Saky last year, damaging a significant number of aircraft?

Yes indeed - August last year, with 9 aircraft claimed to have been hit or damaged.

Well, last I read Ukr had reconquered 54% of the territory taken by the Russkis in their treacherous February '22 attack and in the the last 7 days Russia lost more than $ 2 Bn of major military equipment. 1 x Kilo sub, 1 x Minsk landing-ship, 2 ( or 3 ) x S 400 anti-air systems, 1 x Su 34, 1 ( or 2 ? ) x Ka 52 attack-helis, 1 x Mi- 28 attack heli., 1 x IL20 C2 aircraft* p0lus several high-value ( both cash and strategic ) radar-systems When you add to these losses the withdrawal of ALL Russian subs from Sevastopol to Novorossiysk then I would say that Russia is getting its arse kicked all around the ring, and its propagandist mouth-pieces are shown to be the cretinous gutter-trash that they aspire to be.

One could add to this the deaths of a large number of staff offficsrs in the Black Sea Fleet Planning HQ yesterday and a couple of colonels killed near Bakhmut and Robotyne.

Over to you, Vladimir.

* This attack took place at Chkalovsky airfield near Moscow, reckoned to be the "headquarters" of the RuAF, the home-base of the Doomsday plane for Vlad and his nearest and dearest, and therefore , logically, the most -closely guarded of all bases. They are just a !!!!-shower all round
