[Peter O'Sullevan]... and Captain's Fancy just wins it by a nose, followed by The Boy Helper, Square and Compass, Fawke's Plan and bringing up the rear by several lengths, Spark's Morning After... [/Peter O'Sullevan]

With drawdown of the Typhoon force, QRA is set to take the form of high speed taxi runs.

The first thing everyone does before boarding a Victor is to firmly grab their Helmet.

(Commentator) "...and here is the crew, running to board their Victa, which as we know, was designed in Australia as a piston-engined two-seater which evolved into the CT-4 you see here today.....err....."
(snatches microphone away) "Thank you, Geoffrey Thomas. Get out of my studio!"

Ok Calling this one for the weekend, some cracking entries on this and my favourites are

Kiltrash with "Hurry up lads, her husbands home early"

and Treddi with " and Captain's Fancy just wins it by a nose, followed by The Boy Helper, Square and Compass, Fawke's Plan and bringing up the rear by several lengths, Spark's Morning After..."
which followed on my thoughts of a commentator at the races.

plus his other entry "
Oh wait, did I put the cat out and leave a note for the milkman?"

And Wenslydale with "Sorry Mate. We heard a siren and thought you were the ice-cream van."

But Kiltrash wins it with the "Hurry up lads, her husbands home early"

Trophy on the way, mine would have been something along the lines, we will empty the Pianos ashes out of our bags over the North Sea and no one will be any the wiser.

Oh many thanks Nutty, will be watching for a Victor releasing a retarded
Bomb, to give me time to run bravely away.

With the sad news from the Palace today that may preclude some of our favourite topics, so may I suggest this one that I hope PPRuNe can give HMTQ a spot of light relief

We feel for your loss ma'am

Just heard them talking about some trespassers on the airfield. Apparently, they're sending the SAS.
Yes, they're here already.

Now Son, that's called an Aircraft. People used to fly in them. Now, we just use them to get cheap crap from China.

And to think, just 13 months ago we could go plane spotting without needing to bring a book.

Well, we've invented the aeroplane, we've perfected the runway, all we need to do now is come up with some kind of passenger interface building...
