There was no shortage of Flight Engineers when they discovered they had to carry out a manual check of all the nipples on the aircraft.

Although the new hotpoint did get their tennis kit whiter than white, it did seem a trifle complicated to use.

When they found that the pilot had a thrust lever as well as a joystick, Fiona & Maggie knew that a woman's place was in the cockpit.
