In the early takes of Top Gun, the navigator was not 'Goose' but 'Horse'. Unfortunately the 'hitting the canopy scene' had to be re-shot once the name change came into place.

Although she displayed quite astonishing skill in conducting her protest, the Board of Inquiry concluded that Fg Off Emily Davison had grossly overstepped the mark in throwing her aircraft under the Queen's horse to protest against inherent sexism in the RAF.

The Hunter climbed hard to avoid the JP, but the port undercarriage leg hit the JP's canopy, causing it to break.

Few knew of harvey Smiths ambitions as a young man to be a pilot in the RAF...Until now even less knew of his reaction after being told of his failure at the OASC.

This is a picture of the poster who asked what OASC was like and then argued with everyone who took the time to answer him.

I'm just not sure whether he's on the horse or in the aircraft.
