"Mind the Gap!" "Mind the Gap!" "Mind the Gap!" "Mind the Gap!" "Mind the Gap!" "Mind the Gap!" "Mind the Gap!" "Mind the Gap!"

Boy: "Which gap is the man talking about?"

Father: "The gap between hope and experience, son."

Corbyn desperately tries to balance the extreme left and right wings of the Labour Party. Everyone waits and watches for him to fail spectacularly

The day of judgement - and the usual difficult task of trying to decide on the winner!

Thanks, C52, for the link to Wiki. Interesting, is it not? It just goes to show that this forum is educational as well as being good at slagging off Yung Dum Wun at every opportunity.

I think Wensleydale gets it with the following, since it gets off the subject of railways, balance and whatever:-

Paddy claims he can put three holes in the handkerchief before it hits the ground.

Murph says he can do better than that.

However, there is a problem, and no doubt you will have spotted it.

How will they know which holes belong to whom?
