Doris always sought out a pilot first before moving onto the main event, because she remembered her old dad in his workshop telling her too "always use a pilot first before moving onto the main tool"

Doris and the newspaper were both looking a bit well-used, with the Sporting Section, Entertainment Section and What's On Tonight getting the most attention. It seemed that it was not likely that Positions Vacant would be found.

Gilbert had decided to stay in UK, and apply to become an Air Steward with BOAC. Nobody who had shared a room with him was in the least bit surprised.
