This was to be the worst pitot blockage ever experienced by the Tornado fleet.

These defence cuts are really starting to bite, when I joined we used to have enough fuel to fly them, now we can only afford one hi viz jacket for the whole towing team
Come on lads, Put your backs into it - it's got to be over Murrayfield in 17 minutes and we'll get a hell of a lot of stick if it's late
