Chiefy wouldn't know he'd removed the model from the pegboard - he'd also cunningly removed the dayglo shape from underneath !

scaling down the RAF was the task but QinetiQ didn't quite get it right somehow.

For those few in the know:

ASWE. ARE. DRA. DERA. DSTL or Q2. Same game different name.

Not to forget RSRE, blogger.

No, that's not a caption comp entry. I'm another who can't better RbGardening's attempt. At least, not tonight, after enjoying the Old Speckled Hen.

Ok, although it loses something in translation, I do understand the sentiments.

So, the top three nominees are:

3d Place - showing his age, but still funny, BEagle's:

Between gigs, Donny Osmond would be found playing with his model aeroplane collection....
2d Place and responsible for posting the next one if the winner fails to do so within 24 hours is Hempy's all to close to home to many:

"I thought you'd be bigger"
And the winner by popular acclaim is Rather be Gardening's:

Looking back to his teenage years, locking him in a padded cell with aircraft models proved to be the root cause of Gordon Brown's aversion to the military.

The Afghan version of 'House of wax' sadly lacked the budget of the hollywood version... or

The Kabul Massives tribute to the 12 Sqn Liney vid, all it lacked was a reflective vest...
