"It's for ab-initio training of aircrew for the RAF's proposed Airlander squadron. As you see, the acronym for the scheme is 'DONUTS' - Dirigible Operators and Navigators Under Training Squadron," an RAF spokesman said.

The remake of "Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines" wasn't going too well as getting the British Balloon and the European Balloon in the same shot was getting increasingly difficult as neither the British nor the European pilots could agree on the direction they should take.
Chief Aircraft Inventor: Sir, I present our prototype multi-role combat aircraft.
CEO: Hm, doesn't look very expensive. How are we going to fleece the customer? Or is that big bubble thing full of pricy software?

It made for a fairly boring career ... BFTS Cardington, AFS Cardington, OCU at Cardington, Squadron posting at Cardington ...
Aerial Observation Technology seemed to have come full circle.

Judging time!
Seeing as I'm going on the night shift tonight, I'd better judge it now before Nutty and Buster get bored again and start wingeing .
There's many great captions added here for this one. I took the photo at the Chatsworth House country fair last year. The intrepid RAF balloonist actually had some worrying problems getting airborne and bounced into and ran through the crowd a couple of times before finally "slipping the surly bonds" (and almost touching a tree in the process, causing some concern).
So, although this is an old quote it seems most appropriate:
Well done, Danny42C and welcome back, btw!
(P.S. Danny - is that your bra size? ).

In this event I declare "Arm out of the window" a close second with this:
(With apologies to the lovely Nena)
Armootw, can you please oblige and entertain us with a suitable photo?
Screw you all and your Brexit, I'm heading east to become the long-lost 100th LuftBalloon!
